I'm not much of a figurines kind of girl (except for deers of course), but this cute little set of lovebirds had to be mine. I wonder what the little lover is whispering in her ear....

Inspiration: Brides from the past

6 lovely comments
As some of you might know; I'm getting married in April. It might be a suprise to some, but I don't really care about having a big wedding. I just want to be married to my love. So our day is going to be small, elegant and sweet. Most of the wedding photos I like, are (of course) from past times. And although our day (and my dress I might add) is going to be very simple and clean, I do like to get inspired by beautiful brides from te past.

Vietnamese (L)

This weekend, my love and I had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant called Saigon near my work. I've always known it existed, but I never had dinner there. I have to say the interiour looks a bit 'cheesy,' but the food.... the food is amazing! This is definitely going to be one of our regulars.

Beautiful Blue

Ever since I turned myself into a redhead, the colour blue has been my absolute favourite. Espescially this 'indigo' shade of blue. Roaming around my 'fashion-room' I put together this great outfit. The dress (100% silk) is from the late fifties and the shoes are Asos. This cute little blue box with original 1930s' custom jewelry was a thrift find!

New in: Camera!

I got a new camera yesterday! It's a Canon 450D, which I choose because it's supposed to be a good semi-professional starter camera. I'm trying it out today on my lazy little darling. He loves to be in the spotlight!

Amerongen Castle

Because the weather was gorgeous today, me and my love wanted to go outside. We decided to go to a castle, in a cute little town called Amerongen. Not only is this a very cute beautiful castle, the gardens are very pretty. Hence the picture overload you're about to run into. Can you believe that the weather is this great! I can defenitely recommend visiting this castle on a sunny day...

This photographer is fan-tas-tic. The way he captures moments and energy; every single pictures tells a story. The fact that he has a lot of vintage inspired/burlesque series in his portfolio makes his website (Frank Kouws) even more interesting for me to look at. What an inpsiration on a lazy sunday morning! I'm a fan, what about you?
