Flowers and a cookie

1 lovely comments
This floral dress has a great fifties fit, and I also love the colours. But it wasn't my dress I was most proud of the day I wore this outfit though. It's my cookie-brooch! It just looks so real.... makes me hungry haha. I got it at a young-designers shop in Utrecht.

I felt like wearing a posh outfit today. These shoes are just too cute to be true don't you think? The colours and overall look make me get a bit of a Chanel vibe... Don't get me wrong, I'm not compairing myself to Coco herself!

Fashion (L) Art

1 lovely comments
I went to the Gemeente Museum in The Hague. I wanted to see an exhibition about fashion history and how that history has been influenced by art through the years. How gorgeous it was! What a lovely display of pretty clothes from past times, and of course designers! I espescially loved the Gustav Klimt inspired pieces by John Galliano (Dior '08.) The YSL Mondriaan dress was there as well, I saw Vivienne Westwood, Chanel... Alexander McQueen. Good thing for me, there was a room dedicated to Elsa Schiaparelli, a designer most people don't know though she was amazing in the 1920's/1930's. Just take a look at the pictures and if you like them; I higly recommend visiting The Hague!

My fashion room

6 lovely comments
Since we moved to a new house, I also needed a new room to put all my gorgeous clothes, shoes and accessories. I chose a nice ligth room in the house and I picked the colour white for the walls and floor, figured that would be a good base colour. I installed racks for my clothes on one side, and on the opposite wall I installed five big shelves. I put my old dining table in there to use as a working table, for making collages and stuff. Filled it up with my vintage/styling collection and here it is!

New front door

I have a new front door! Because.... we moved to our new house last weekend. Hence the lack of posting! I wore this fall outfit to work yesterday. O how I love these colours. The coat is a Burberry which I found in a charity shop in Dublin this summer. My fur boots are the best for when it gets cold!
