Trips&outfit: The Eastbourne Pier

For a long weekend on the English coast, we drove our car onto the ferry and headed for East-Sussex. Soon after arriving at our destination (which was quite the thrill, driving on the other side of the road and all haha) we completely fell in love with the Victorian beauty of the picturesque seaside town Eastbourne. It was such a beautiful sight to see the late 19th century pier decorate the waves like an extravagant jewel.

Our hotel was right next to the pier at the seaside... what a punishment hihi! Especially since the weather was a-ma-zing. We enjoyed four days of gorgeous sunshine and 22 degrees... and since we prepared for somewhat more 'British' weather, this was quite the treat. During our short stay at the English south-coast we visited the mesmerizing city of Brighton, peeked over 530 ft high cliffs, enjoyed many full Englishes and some proper pints, sat on the beach with scones and of course; did some full blown thrifting! This is the first post dedicated to out little trip, showing you the beautiful Eastbourne pier in a somewhat French ensemble.
