Stoofvlees and a check dress

Indian summer sundays are the best. We always love to go for little one-day adventures, espescially when it's sunny. We often search for some nice markets to visit, but occasionally even I don't feel like browsing through history. So on a lazy sunday afternoon we decided to go to the country side, to socialize with some farm animals and grab something absolutely Dutch to eat. We ended up going to Oud Amelisweerd and Vroeg, where a cow fell in love with Marnix and we both enjoyed the best 'patatje stoofvlees' ever.
I can really recommend going to 'Vroeg' to you Dutch darlings. It's a huge restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, all prepared with local products. But they also have a nice little orchard where you can enjoy typical Dutch treats like stoofvlees (a cooked meat dish), homemade ice cream and freshly made juices. In the restaurant you will also find a huge variety of local producs to take home. All very Dutch, the surroundings are nice as well and the choises are endless; a defenite go-to!
