Twenties twist

After seeing this Maison Scotch dress (I referred to earlier) it never left my thoughts. When I was shopping with the hubby last sunday, I was looking for modern clothes with a vintage twist, for when I'm working. Because this dress was so hard for me to forget, I tracked down a Scotch & Soda shop to try it on against better judgement... I have to say I was quite convinced it would look horrible on me.....

After trying it on however, I felt (although the fit is very different from what I mostly wear) quite good in it. The colour and details are gorgeous to begin with. And because of it's flowy fabric, the dress kind of 'drapes' around my body, which I tried accentuating a bit with a thin belt. I know I'll never be a roaring flapper, but this dress makes me feel as twenty-ish as I can be :)
