1950s' with a twist

The yellow dress I'm wearing is from the boutique I work, isn't it a beauty? It's as fifties as a dress can be. I combined the dress with a vintage belt, charmeuse undergarments, leather riding gloves (H&M), a satin scarf (H&M) and lovely suede shoes (Sacha.)

Randomness

This boring sunday is a good day to try out my 'new' camera (it's not new-new, but a few years old.) It's not incredibly good, but at least it's a lot better than my old camera. Here are a few pictures of random things in my house. I'm still learning about all the settings in a playfull way.

Evening purse

I just found this sixties evening purse in a second hand shop in Utrecht. I fell in love with the huge fake diamonds (glass) and the soft pink lining. I bought it as a present.... but I think I'll probably keep it myself! A lovely purse for a night on the town I think.

Maxi skirt

I just got back from a nice vacation in Ireland, beautiful country! Of course I did some shopping..... I found this brownish/red skirt for only 15 euro's at (where else) the Primark. Love the colour, love the fit.... and it's really comfortable as well. The top (it's really a short dress) is from H&M, as is the ring.... The blouse also Primark. Belt, necklace, shoes and hat are vintage

Gold... yummy! I'm such a fan... silver really doesn't suit me. That's why my engagement ring is gold. And most of my other jewelry as well. Like my cheap-ass men's watch I got for approximately 10 euro's. Most of the gold I own isn't actual gold (except for the ring) but that doesn't matter.
